Vergas Ford Gets Website with PaulNet
VERGAS, MN. While the vintage tractor repair industry isn't one known for early adoption of technology, Vergas Ford Equipment Company knew that they needed a website to help them reach more customers who are using the internet to research repair options for their vintage tractors. Vergas Ford is a unique tractor repair company in the area because most of the equipment they work on is easily a half-century old. "To be successful you need to either specialize in the difficult or unusual, and that's what we do," commented owner, Dean Haarstick.
While "difficult and unusual" generally sums up most projects at Vergas Ford, their speciality is repairing Ford 9N, 8N and 2N series tractors. Haarstick had this to say about those Ford tractors, "they are just a nice little tractor for people with lake places or who live out in the country and don't want to spend the money on a newer tractor. And believe me, the newer tractors are not made the way these older tractors are." Most of the Vergas Ford clientele have shifted from agri-business to more "hobby farm" or general purpose tractor users, there are still people who use them and enjoy them. People looking for 9N tractor repair or restoration should look no further than Vergas Ford!

Itaska Rock Website Launched by PaulNet
VERGAS, MN. "It was unreal! That boulder looked like it could barely fit in the pickup truck that was hauling it," said Vergas resident, Karen Haarstick, "I still cannot believe what I saw, for a rock that size, it could never have been moved by just a pickup." The enormous rock that Ms. Haarstick saw was a custom production rock from Itaska Rock Mfg of Park Rapids, MN. Itaska Rock makes its boulders over a hollow frame and covers that frame with a secret mixture of stone that sets and becomes as hard as the original rocks it was made of. The only similar products available are plastic boulders, which aren't even in the same league as these custom made rocks!
"They look absolutely like the real thing, and they even feel real!" commented PaulNet Communications Project Manager, Paul Haarstick, "this product is something that people really have to see to believe." PaulNet Communications was selected as the firm to build an online presence for the Park Rapids company. "We wanted to make a website that was true to the natural beauty of the Minnesota northwoods, but prominently featured these amazing cultured stones."
